A recent article on SmartCompany.com.au reinforced the power of note taking - http://www.smartcompany.com.au/Blog/Sue-Barrett-Blog/20080926-Take-note.html. Unfortunately my notes normally resemble a 2 year olds colouring-in book so I was dubious about LiveScribe being able to recognise my handwriting let alone make it searchable.

When I realised Mark had them in stock I put on my ‘early adopter’ hat and took the plunge. Two days later I can sum it up in one word – Magic.

The handwriting recognition, recording quality, built in calculator and language translator are ingenious. I’ve used the pen to record the last four meetings with each usage resulting in the same question - “Where can I buy one!”. I haven’t seen such a positive response for a piece of technology from such a broad age range before (20-60). I’ve never looked so forward to taking notes!
